Software we
want to use.

Built around how
I actually use software.

Overcast Software is my personal software company. I make apps in areas I know and care about, because I want to enjoy using them myself.

I care about software that feels elegant and still lets you adjust it to suit you. Good defaults matter, but so do the details: how an app fits into your day, how it works with other software, and which small tweaks make it better. When I add a setting to improve my own experience, I want you to have that control too.

Scoreless started with a daily frustration. I’d look up when the Yankees were playing and get the score before I could watch. Searching YouTube for highlights meant risking a title that gave away the best moment. I wanted a quick way to check the schedule and get notified when highlights are available while keeping the game a surprise.

That’s the kind of problem I like solving: something I run into myself, with a solution that makes the day a little easier.
